Sample size information: The sample size information is not applicable to the finding. Statistically valid sample: N/A Name of Federal agency: U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Pass-through entity: N/A Questioned costs: $17,137 Statement of condition #2020-001: The required deposit of $17,137 per the Computation of Surplus Cash, Distributions and Residual Receipts as of September 30, 2019, was not deposited into the residual receipts fund within 90 days of the fiscal year end. Criteria: The Regulatory Agreement requires Surplus Cash as defined by HUD, to be deposited into a separate residual receipts fund, within 90 days after the end of each fiscal year. Effect: The Corporation is not in compliance with the Regulatory Agreement. Cause: This was an oversight by management. Recommendation: Management should monitor the Surplus Cash position and make required residual receipts deposits per the annual Computation of Surplus Cash, Distributions and Residual Receipts within 90 days after the fiscal year end. Completion date: November 13, 2020 Management's response: Agree. Management concurs with the finding and the auditor's recommendation. The required deposit was made on November 13, 2020.
