Condition: The fiscal year audit and reporting package is being submitted after the required due date. Context: We reviewed the audit submission date in comparison to the required due date. Schedule of Findings 6/30/2020 2020-001 Late Submission Condition: The fiscal year audit and reporting package is being submitted after the required due date. Auditor?s Recommendation: The District should take steps to ensure that its financial records are maintained on a current basis, reconciled timely, and audited within nine months after year end. District Response: The District is prepared for the records to be available by September 1, 2022, to allow auditors enough time to meet requirements to comply with the Federal Audit Clearing House 2 CFR section 200.512(a). The District Clerk Judy Linthicum will be proactive in making sure that the Audits are complete in a timely manner.
