Statistically valid sample: No Name of Federal agency: U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Pass-through entity: N/A Questioned costs: $380 Statement of Condition 2021-001 (Assistance Listing 14.155): The Corporation did not make the total required reserve for replacements deposits during the year ended June 30, 2021 and the reserve for replacements is underfunded by $380 at June 30, 2021. Criteria: Pursuant to Section 2(a) of the Regulatory Agreement, the Property is required to make monthly deposits to the reserve for replacements fund as required by HUD. Effect: The Corporation is not in compliance with the terms of the Regulatory Agreement and the reserve for replacements fund is underfunded by $380 at June 30, 2021. Cause: The required monthly deposits increased effective February 1, 2021, however, the increased deposits were not made. Recommendation: Management should transfer $380 into the reserve for replacements fund from the operating cash account and make future deposits to the reserve for replacements fund in accordance with HUD approved deposit increases. Completion Date: July 6, 2021 Management Response: Agree. On July 6, 2021, Management transferred $380 into the reserve for replacements fund from the operating cash account.
