Sample size information: The universe size is not applicable to the finding. Noncompliance information: See statement of condition #2020-001 for noncompliance information. Statically valid sample: Yes Name of Federal agency: U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Pass Through entity: N/A Questioned costs: $29,194 Statement of condition #2020-001: During the year ended June 30, 2020, HUD approved a reserve for replacements withdrawal to cover the delay in PRAC funds to be received for September and October 2019. The reserve for replacements account was not reimbursed when the funds were received from HUD. Criteria: Pursuant to HUD directive, the PRAC loan was to be repaid to the reserve for replacements fund upon receipt of the PRAC funds. Effect or potential effect: The Corporation is not in compliance with the terms of the Regulatory Agreement. At June 30, 2020, the Property's reserve for replacements account is underfunded by $29,194. Cause: Due to insufficient operating cash at the time the PRAC funds were received, the Property did not have adequate cash to reimburse the reserve for replacements fund. Recommendation: Management should transfer funds from the operating account in order to reimburse the reserve for replacements account. Completion date: September 10, 2020 Management Response: Agree. On September 10, 2020, management reimbursed the Property's reserve for replacements account.
