What is a management decision? →During the testing of Title I compliance for year ended June 30, 2021, we noted three Teacher Assistants the school could not provide documentation they met the criteria. Effect: Title I students may have been under served. Cause: Documentation was not available to verify the Teacher Assistants met the requirements of Title 1. Questioned Costs: Questioned costs are $64,895 for payroll and benefits. Recommendation: The school needs to verify documentation for all paraprofessionals paid with Title 1 funds. Views/Planned Corrective Action: The School had turnover in the HR department and the prior HR director lost several files. The current HR director will verify documentation for all other Teacher Assistants is current and available.
