Criteria: Per 2 CFR 200.514(a), an entity that disburses more than $750,000 in federal funds must have a single audit performed. Context: Because of the pending closure, the College has chosen to forego having their full financial statements audited and has chosen to have its Title IV funds audited, as required by 34 CFR 668.26(b)(2)(ii). Effects: The effect of this decision is unknown. Questioned Costs: N/A Cause of Non-Compliance: The College has chosen to perform the compliance audit as required of a closing institution but not the financial statement audit. Recommendation for Corrective Action: We recommend the college have the required audit performed.
